Get Ready To Rock
with Tom Bromley
Taken
from his debut album Two-Nine-Five (produced by Porl Young - Roxy Music
and Nina Hagen), All The Things We Need is the most obvious choice of
single to follow his debut Single Danger Ahead.
Reworked
with band members Lewis Saerle, Tom Greene, Tom B and Tiffany Tremain,
it's an up tempo pop/rock number and merits a listen - Thomas's soulful
vocals falling squarely into David Gray / Van The Man territory.
And
for your indulgence, you get new track Beaten By Defeat, a gentle solo
acoustic number. *** Visit
the Get Ready To Rock website.

All The Things You Need?
Stay
tuned to your radios for Tom's next single, All The Things We Need. Due
for release in September, the track is from Tom's debut album ‘295,’
remixed by Porl Young.
"One of the best albums of 2006" says North Wales weekly
With Danger Ahead, Comfort Zone, Mark My
Words and the aforementioned single [Standing Strong], he's announced
his arrival as one of our premier singer/songwriters. Soaked in sophistication,
this is one of the best albums of 2006 so far.
North Wales Weekly
"There's
enough evidence here to suggest that Thomas Bromley could be one to watch."
**** says Get Ready To Rock
Thomas Bromley sounds older than his tender age of 22. Danger Ahead is
melodic pop/rock of the highest order. Thomas' vocals have a husky rock
hue than melt into falsetto on the chorus. Produced by Porl Young (Roxy
Music and Nina Hagen) Thomas' debut album 295 sees him playing guitar,
piano and percussion. The B-side Saine, also from 295, is another strong
track - a tender piano based ballad with smoky vocals. The male singer-songwriter
market is a tough place to be at the moment, but there's enough evidence
here to suggest that Thomas Bromley could be one to watch.

Get Ready To Tock
"One of the new breed of singer songwriters...Two
Nine-Five is, as a debut should be, bustling with life and promise"
says NetRhythms.co.uk
Never,
ever judge a book by its cover or an artist by his or her name. Thomas
Bromley may sound like one of those nerdy, techno-pop geeks that blighted
80s music. In fact he is one of the new breed of singer songwriters that
are currently injecting an organic excitement into music. With Two Nine-Five,
multi-instrumentalist Bromley has produced an album of delicate layers
that includes just about every shade of emotion you can imagine and many
that you can't...Two Nine-Five is, as a debut should be, bustling with
life and promise, Bye The Way and Mark My Words are funky, fresh-faced
and full of soul. Bromley may be skilled at revealing the deeper side
of life but he's not averse to a good time either. Even at this early
stage in his career Thomas Bromley has set down a marker that he may well
struggle to match never mind beat. The anthemic Standing Strong is a classic
love song, it makes David Gray sound as if he's living up to his surname.
If that song in particular and Two Nine-Five in general, represent the
pinnacle of Thomas Bromley's career then he has much to be proud of, a
public hungry for real music however may not be satisfied. NetRhythms.co.uk
"One
of the best albums of the year...4/5" says
Virgin.net
Make
no mistake, in its field - that of soulful, indie, singer/songwriter rock
- Two-Five-Nine is one of the best albums of this year.
The
Kent-born son of an importer of American classic cars, Thomas Bromley
is supposedly only 22 but the maturity on display on this debut long-player
is that of a far more experienced performer and composer. Playing pub
gigs since he was 14, perhaps that's not so surprising. A voice that reaches
heights and depths in equal measure complements songs that are sometimes
bluesy and upbeat - as on Out There and Bye The Way - while he can do
alt rock as well as anyone; the current single Danger Ahead is already
on my Top 10 tracks for the year and hell, it's only March.
Even
when he's moving into commercial territory, as on the ever-so slightly
schmaltzy Standing Strong, you find yourself forgiving the man, such is
the quality of the tune. He's playing the Bedford pub in Balham, south
west London on 10th May. I'll be there, and so should you. Virgin.net

Debut
Album releate date announced (27th March 2006)
After
months in the studio the wait is now over. Tom's single, Danger Ahead
/ Saine, was released on 13th March and the the album 295 set for release
on 24th April 2006 on 4Real Records.
Produced
by Porl Young (Lead guitar & producer for ‘Rosetta Stone’
& production credits that include Roxy Music & Nina Hagen) 295
sees the multitalented musician not only writing all ten tracks but
performing vocals, guitar, piano, and percussion. The music glides between
the delicate, powerful, upbeat and reflective with a maturity of sound
well beyond the composer’s 22 years. For more details on these
releases, visit the music

"Well worth listening to" says Classic Rock Magazine
15/9/05
"With a maturity of sound, and strong songwriting performance,
Bromley's debut single belies the fact that the performer is only 22.
A mature introduction, Standing Strong, with its emotional resonance,
and sensitive performance was written about survivors of the Tsunami,
whilst the other track Bye The Way is a catchier, rockier sound. Both
songs showcase the ability and strengths of this versatile performer,
well worth listening to. If this single is so strong, then the debut
album will be worth waiting for."
